Manufacturers are increasingly turning to capped and co-extruded solutions to mitigate moisture and heat-related degradation, though these premium products face cost-adoption barriers. Simultaneously, the automotive sector is adopting these composites for non-structural interior components, seeking sustainable, lightweight alternatives to traditional plastics. As demand for durable, low-maintenance outdoor materials persists in North America and urbanization accelerates across the Asia-Pacific region, the industry is diversifying its raw-material strategies to hedge against conventional resin price fluctuations.
