Hawaii American Water, which serves roughly 30,000 customers, managed the restoration process while coordinating with local health officials.

Warning signs now line the affected shoreline to alert residents and visitors. Authorities advise the public to avoid all contact with the water in these areas until the Hawaii Department of Health confirms that safety standards are met and the signage can be safely removed.
