Nguyen brings a decade of internal experience to the role, having joined the firm in 2016. His tenure as Chief Sales Officer was marked by a focus on commercial strategy and customer retention, which the board cited as evidence of his ability to manage the firm's current phase of development. He now oversees a portfolio that includes 15 operational data centres and a pipeline of 12 additional sites.

The appointment comes as the company manages nearly 800MW of capacity under development. With the surge in cloud adoption and AI-driven workloads, Nguyen’s mandate is to scale the global platform while maintaining the company’s commitment to its sustainability targets. Chairman Tim Cohen noted that Nguyen’s familiarity with the company’s internal culture and his track record in execution were decisive factors in the selection process. Nguyen stated that his immediate focus remains on operational excellence and long-term value creation for stakeholders as the industry demands more resilient, high-capacity infrastructure.
