Leifras Marks 25th Anniversary by Opening Headquarters to Families

Tokyo-based sports educator Leifras Co., Ltd. shifted its 25th-anniversary celebration away from internal corporate milestones on August 19, 2026, by hosting Family Day 2026. The event invited employees and their children to the company’s Yebisu Garden Place headquarters to recognize the domestic support systems behind its workforce.

CEO Kiyotaka Ito hosted approximately 60 back-office staff and their relatives, guiding children through workplace tours and carnival-style activities. The initiative underscores a shift in the company’s human capital strategy, which seeks to bridge the gap between employee well-being and the quality of sports instruction provided to children across Japan. By treating the family unit as a pillar of its professional environment, the company aims to reinforce its founding principle of "Good for Oneself," ensuring staff maintain a balance between their personal lives and their roles in youth sports development.

Since its founding in 2001, Leifras has grown into one of Japan’s largest operators of children’s sports schools. As the firm looks toward the next quarter-century, leadership plans to integrate this focus on family support into its broader business model. The company maintains that employees who feel supported at home are better equipped to deliver the high-quality, community-focused service that defines their brand, effectively creating a cycle where personal fulfillment translates into social impact for the students they coach.
