GPGI Faces Class Action Over Alleged Misleading Acquisition Claims

Investors who purchased GPGI, Inc. shares between November 3, 2025, and May 6, 2026, face a critical September 15 deadline to join a class action lawsuit. The litigation targets alleged violations of the Securities Exchange Act, centering on claims that the company misled the market regarding its acquisition of Husky Technologies.

The complaint, filed against GPGI—formerly known as CompoSecure, Inc.—alleges that the firm issued false and misleading statements to shareholders throughout the specified class period. Central to the dispute is the acquisition of Husky Technologies Limited, which plaintiffs contend was structured primarily to benefit insiders and related parties rather than the broader shareholder base. Legal filings suggest the Husky division failed to meet projected financial milestones, rendering the company's public assurances about the deal’s value materially inaccurate.

The DJS Law Group, led by David Schwartz, is currently seeking lead plaintiffs for the action. While the firm emphasizes its background in complex securities litigation and corporate governance, shareholders are not required to serve as lead plaintiffs to participate in any potential recovery. Those who incurred losses during the window are encouraged to contact legal counsel to evaluate their claims before the September 15 cutoff.
