TransformativeMed and Red Rover Health Target EHR Discharge Workflows

A strategic partnership between TransformativeMed and Red Rover Health aims to integrate agentic AI directly into Oracle Health electronic health records. By combining TransformativeMed's Agentic Clinical Operating System with Red Rover’s interoperability infrastructure, the firms intend to automate complex clinical tasks, starting with patient discharge planning.

The collaboration leverages the Model Context Protocol to allow AI agents secure, real-time access to clinical tools and data. By embedding these agents within existing EHR environments, the companies seek to alleviate the cognitive load on hospital staff during the discharge process—a phase frequently cited as a high-friction bottleneck in acute care. The initial solution is currently being refined through a pilot program with a major academic health system.

David Stone, CEO of TransformativeMed, emphasized that the shift focuses on delivering tangible bedside value rather than theoretical utility. John Orosco, CEO of Red Rover Health, added that the infrastructure serves as a necessary bridge to ensure clinicians actually adopt these automated tools. The companies are scheduled to demonstrate the discharge planning solution at the upcoming Oracle Health Summit in September 2026.
