Investors Eye Lead Plaintiff Role in PROCEPT BioRobotics Class Action

Investors who lost more than $100,000 in PROCEPT BioRobotics stock between February 2024 and February 2026 are being urged to step forward as lead plaintiffs. A securities fraud lawsuit filed by the Rosen Law Firm alleges the company artificially inflated revenue through undisclosed bulk-order incentive programs.

The core of the litigation centers on claims that PROCEPT BioRobotics misled shareholders by utilizing an aggressive discount strategy. According to the complaint, this program incentivized customers to place bulk orders that far exceeded actual procedure demand, effectively pulling future revenue into earlier periods. By the end of the class period, this practice reportedly created a surplus of over 10,000 excess units in the field.

Plaintiffs allege that these actions left the company unable to meet its 2025 financial guidance, which lacked a factual basis at the time it was issued. Investors seeking to represent the class must move the court by September 22, 2026. While the lawsuit is currently active, no class has been certified, meaning investors remain responsible for their own legal representation until such a designation occurs.
