YL Ventures Maintains Top-Decile Status in PitchBook Rankings

For the fourth consecutive year, YL Ventures has secured a spot in the top 10% of PitchBook’s Global Manager Performance Score League Tables. Among 368 competing fund families, the firm remains the only venture capital entity in this elite bracket dedicated exclusively to the cybersecurity sector.

The firm’s performance score has climbed steadily, rising from 70.5 in 2022 to 76.7 in the 2025 assessment. PitchBook evaluates fund families by weighing strategy, vintage year, and fund maturity, placing particular emphasis on the ratio of distributed capital to invested capital—a metric highly valued by institutional allocators.

Managing $800 million across five funds, the firm focuses on early-stage Israeli cybersecurity startups. Managing Partner Yoav Leitersdorf attributes the consistent ranking to deep integration within the Israeli technology ecosystem and long-term collaboration with founders. As the firm monitors shifts driven by artificial intelligence, its portfolio continues to expand with companies like Novee, Native, and Miggo, following a track record of exits including the acquisitions of Twistlock by Palo Alto Networks and Hexadite by Microsoft.
