Graebel Debuts AI Virtual Assistant for Self-Managed Relocations

Denver-based workforce mobility firm Graebel Companies has integrated an AI-powered virtual assistant, Switch, into its CitySwitcher platform. The tool aims to provide personalized, real-time guidance for employees managing their own relocations, replacing generic online searches with curated data and neighborhood-matching capabilities tailored to individual destination needs.

The launch follows a recent industry award for the CitySwitcher platform, which serves the growing segment of the workforce receiving lump-sum relocation benefits. As employees increasingly handle their own logistics, they often face uncertainty regarding neighborhood selection and service tradeoffs. Switch attempts to bridge this gap by offering immediate, destination-specific advice while reducing the administrative burden on corporate mobility teams.

Joey Ham, Global Head of Product at Graebel, stated that the platform transforms the relocation process from a fragmented collection of resources into a structured, guided experience. By directing employees toward vetted information rather than non-expert consumer AI tools, the company aims to mitigate program risks for employers while ensuring that mobile staff can make informed decisions with greater speed. The assistant provides real-time answers, compares relocation options, and tracks progress based on the employee's current stage in the move.
