TechnologyMatch and Get IT Sense Partner to Refine B2B Tech Buying

Orlando-based marketplace TechnologyMatch is teaming up with advisory firm Get IT Sense to overhaul how businesses source IT solutions. By shifting the focus from aggressive lead generation to a controlled, discovery-led process, the partnership aims to help IT decision-makers define their requirements before committing to a specific vendor.

The collaboration integrates Get IT Sense’s advisory framework into the TechnologyMatch platform. When a buyer’s specific needs align with the Get IT Sense portfolio, the firm steps in to conduct a rigorous discovery phase. This includes auditing current technical environments, assessing financial risk, and evaluating long-term business goals. By facilitating this analysis before a sales pitch occurs, the companies intend to eliminate the friction and premature pressure common in traditional B2B technology procurement.

Tonya Turrell, CEO of TechnologyMatch, noted that the model prioritizes buyer control, allowing organizations to engage with providers only when they have a clear understanding of the project scope. Scott Raymer, CEO of Get IT Sense, emphasized that the objective is to ensure leadership makes informed decisions by aligning technology investments with operational realities. The partnership spans a wide range of services, including cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and managed services, effectively acting as an intermediary to ensure that the final provider recommendation is tailored to the organization's unique requirements.
