Investors Set September Deadline for Rackspace Securities Lawsuit

Investors who purchased Rackspace Technology, Inc. securities between May 7 and July 8, 2026, face a September 28 deadline to apply as lead plaintiff in a pending class action lawsuit, according to a notice filed by the Rosen Law Firm.

The litigation centers on allegations that Rackspace misled shareholders regarding its enterprise AI strategy and financial health. The complaint asserts that the company failed to disclose that its AI initiatives required a significant diversion of capital away from its profitable Private Cloud segment. Furthermore, the suit claims that Rackspace’s Public Cloud revenue was in decline as clients increasingly bypassed the company to contract directly with hyperscale cloud providers, forcing a reduction in the company's infrastructure resale business.

These undisclosed shifts allegedly rendered the company’s public statements about its fiscal year 2026 revenue prospects materially misleading. Shareholders who suffered financial losses following the market's reaction to these disclosures may seek compensation through the ongoing class action. While a lawsuit has been filed, no class has been certified yet; investors remain free to retain their own counsel or participate as absent class members without serving as lead plaintiff.
