Walovi Establishes Singapore Hub to Anchor Global Expansion

Singapore’s status as a regional gateway has secured a new international headquarters for beverage manufacturer Walovi. The firm, which recently launched its X-Hero electrolyte drink outside China, is leveraging the move to coordinate a rapid expansion across Southeast Asia, where export figures have doubled in the first half of 2026.

The Singapore office will function as the company’s central command for global operations, including channel management, cross-border investment, and talent acquisition. By establishing a local presence, Walovi aims to explore regional co-manufacturing and filling models to better serve a market currently valued at US$21.8 billion. Chairman Fang Dafeng described the move as a transition toward maturity, emphasizing the company's goal of establishing itself as a leader in plant-based beverages.

To accelerate this growth, the company has finalized three strategic partnerships. A collaboration with Nanyang Technological University will focus on consumer research, while an agreement with Baosteel Packaging facilitates supply chain logistics in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Cambodia. Additionally, a distribution deal with Sheng Sheng Food will bring the X-Hero line—a blend of ginseng and coffee bean extracts—to Singaporean retail shelves. With international sales sustaining a 25% compound annual growth rate, the company is betting on the shift toward clean-label products, supported by brand ambassadors like Erling Haaland.
