Weiser and Marx to Face Off at Colorado Chamber Gubernatorial Forum

Democratic Attorney General Phil Weiser and Republican nominee Victor Marx will share a stage for the only time this election cycle on October 8. The pair are scheduled to debate their economic platforms at the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting Luncheon held at the Legacy at National Western Center.

The luncheon serves as the Chamber's primary event for addressing state competitiveness and legislative achievements. Beyond the headlining gubernatorial forum, the program features political strategist and author Donna Brazile as the keynote speaker. Ed Sealover, vice president of strategic initiatives at the Chamber, will moderate the discussion between the candidates, focusing on the policy challenges facing Colorado employers and workers.

Organizers anticipate high demand for the event, which remains open to both Chamber members and the general public. With limited seating available at the National Western Center, the Chamber is pushing for early registration to manage attendance for the 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. program. This gathering marks a rare moment for voters to evaluate the candidates' divergent visions for the state's economic future side-by-side.
