Kristen Schavemaker, Chief Partnerships Officer at Children's Miracle Network, noted that the decentralized nature of the funding allows individual hospitals to address their most urgent local needs. By keeping donations within the communities where they are collected, the initiative aims to provide care teams with the flexibility to improve health outcomes and provide immediate support for families. This year’s total underscores the sustained scale of the retail giant's philanthropic efforts, which have now spanned nearly four decades of clinical support.
