Yackulic arrives at the firm following a tenure as Vice President of Exploration at Denison Mines Corp., where he oversaw a portfolio spanning 380,000 hectares. His background includes twelve years at Cameco Corporation and a track record of guiding grassroots projects through to resource definition, including the discovery of the Fox Lake deposit. His technical expertise, rooted in advanced geological modeling and drilling, is expected to refine the company's approach to the Patterson Lake Corridor.

Blast Resources CEO Casey Forward noted that the addition of Yackulic serves as a strategic milestone for the company’s evolution. The Wales Lake project sits near the Arrow and Triple R uranium deposits, areas that remain central to global supply efforts as international nuclear capacity targets for 2050 continue to tighten the market.
