EyePoint Investors Face 67% Stock Drop Amid Clinical Trial Setback

A 66.98% collapse in EyePoint’s stock value has triggered a formal investigation by Pomerantz LLP. The firm is now examining whether the company or its leadership misled shareholders regarding the pivotal LUGANO Phase 3 clinical trial results for its wet age-related macular degeneration treatment, DURAVYU.

The investigation centers on the August 17, 2026, disclosure that the company failed to meet its primary clinical endpoints. EyePoint announced that its vorolanib intravitreal insert did not show the expected improvement in best corrected visual acuity when compared against Regeneron Pharmaceuticals’ Eylea. Following the announcement, share prices plummeted by $9.88, closing at just $4.87.

Pomerantz LLP is currently soliciting contact from affected shareholders to determine if the company’s disclosures constituted securities fraud or other unlawful business practices. Investors who suffered losses following the trial results are encouraged to reach out to Danielle Peyton at the firm’s New York office to discuss potential participation in a class action lawsuit.
