American Academy of Neurology launches dedicated brain health portal

The American Academy of Neurology has debuted BrainHealth.com, a public-facing digital hub designed to bridge the gap between complex neuroscience and daily life. The platform provides evidence-based guidance, expert-reviewed articles, and personal narratives, aiming to serve both those managing neurological conditions and individuals seeking preventative wellness strategies.

AAN President Natalia S. Rost emphasized that while brain health remains a lifelong priority, patients often struggle to navigate the deluge of conflicting medical information online. By centralizing resources, the organization hopes to provide a reliable destination for those seeking clarity on topics ranging from stroke recovery to concussion management and general cognitive maintenance.

Editor-in-Chief Sarah Song noted that the site expands upon the foundation laid by the academy’s existing Brain & Life publication. Users can access a variety of media, including a dedicated podcast series and curated book recommendations. The initiative leverages the expertise of the AAN’s 44,000-member network, ensuring that caregiving advice and research summaries undergo rigorous clinical review before publication.
