The separation marks a shift for both parties as they pivot toward distinct strategies. Dashjr, a co-founder of the pool, intends to launch a new venture named CONVOY. He stated that this move aligns with his ongoing commitment to decentralizing the mining ecosystem, a goal he will continue to pursue independently of his former company.
For its part, the Wyoming-based firm Mummolin, Inc., which operates the OCEAN pool, confirmed it will maintain its current service model. The company plans to move forward by providing miners with its existing transparent, non-custodial mining infrastructure. The departure serves as a quiet conclusion to the partnership, clearing the path for the parties to follow divergent paths in the competitive mining landscape.
