The refiner has not yet disclosed which specific units were affected or whether the fire will disrupt fuel production. The Ardmore facility is a significant regional hub, primarily processing light sweet crude into gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for the Mid-Continent market.
According to the company’s report, the site is now under a formal review process. Such incidents typically trigger oversight from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and state regulators to ensure compliance with industrial safety standards. Valero has not provided a timeline for a return to full operational capacity at the impacted units.
