Penske Automotive Group announced a 1.4% increase to its quarterly cash dividend on Wednesday, marking the 21st consecutive period of payout growth for the Michigan-based transportation services firm.

The Bloomfield Hills-based company’s board approved a raise to $1.40 per share, up from the previous $1.38. This adjustment brings the annualized payout to $5.60, representing a dividend yield of approximately 3.4% based on the stock's Wednesday closing price of $164.40.

Sustained Shareholder Returns

This latest increase underscores a period of sustained capital return for the firm. According to the company’s announcement, the dividend is scheduled for payment on March 5 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on Feb. 25.

The consistent growth highlights the company's operational stability within the broader transportation and retail automotive sectors. By maintaining a streak of 21 consecutive quarters of dividend hikes, Penske continues to position itself as a reliable pick for income-focused investors.
