By enabling the recovery of these materials for use in automotive manufacturing and infrastructure, the design effectively shifts wind energy away from a single-use model. The technology also assists international operators in meeting stringent sustainability reporting requirements, such as the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

This development follows a series of circular economy initiatives from the company, including the launch of the TMT82 recyclable thermoset-resin blade in early 2025. To support these materials, CRRC recently deployed a mobile, intelligent processing system. By functioning as a "smart mobile recycling factory," this unit bypasses the logistical hurdles of transporting massive decommissioned components to fixed facilities, allowing for efficient, large-scale processing across various geographic sites.
