SupplyOne Expands Midwest Footprint with Packaging Design Corporation

Forty-nine acquisitions deep, Pennsylvania-based SupplyOne is tightening its grip on the Midwest market. The packaging giant confirmed its purchase of Burr Ridge’s Packaging Design Corporation, a move designed to integrate the Illinois firm’s specialized point-of-purchase display manufacturing into its broader North American distribution network.

The acquisition marks SupplyOne’s second foray into the Chicago area, following the 2025 purchase of Wertheimer Box. By folding the family-owned Packaging Design Corporation into its portfolio, SupplyOne gains a specialist in branded e-commerce and retail packaging that has operated since 1968. Owner Scott Jones will remain at the helm of the Burr Ridge facility, ensuring continuity for a client base that spans the Midwest and beyond.

Todd Renehan, President and CEO of SupplyOne, highlighted the deal as a strategic alignment of manufacturing expertise and structural design. For SupplyOne, the integration serves as a vehicle to scale its value-added services, leveraging the local firm’s reputation to bolster its own presence in the competitive corrugated packaging sector.
