The six-year financing facility provides immediate capital to reimburse ongoing infrastructure investments, including the construction of four new buildings and the acquisition of advanced manufacturing equipment. This expansion aims to scale production of high-performance metal powders such as titanium, nickel alloys, and refractory materials like tungsten and tantalum, utilizing the company’s proprietary UniMelt microwave plasma technology.

By leveraging domestic feedstock sources, 6K Additive ensures compliance with stringent U.S. Department of War procurement regulations, including DFARS standards. The loan structure includes an initial 12-month interest-only period followed by five years of principal amortization. With drawdown availability through June 30, 2028, the company intends to maintain its existing capital reserves while meeting surging demand for resilient supply chains in critical industrial applications. CEO Frank Roberts noted that the agreement reinforces the strategic necessity of domestic manufacturing for national defense and advanced industrial sectors.
