The registration follows an intensive three-day audit of Northern Jet’s flight operations, internal policies, and safety management systems. Developed by the International Business Aviation Council, the IS-BAO framework emphasizes organizational accountability and proactive risk identification. According to Tim Reeve, the company's Director of Safety, the successful audit serves as external validation of the internal culture and decision-making processes that define the firm’s daily operations.
This achievement complements Northern Jet’s existing credentials, including ARGUS Platinum status, WYVERN Wingman PRO certification, and compliance with FAA Part 5 requirements. These third-party validations are increasingly critical as the company scales its international presence and fleet capabilities. The move comes shortly after the addition of a Gulfstream G550, an ultra-long-range aircraft that signals the operator's push into more frequent transatlantic and long-haul missions. CEO Chris Bull noted that the registration provides a necessary operational foundation for this expansion, ensuring that safety standards remain consistent even as the company's footprint grows across new markets.
