Mike Earman Tapped to Lead Health System Partnerships at Scholars Network

To address the widening gap between clinical staffing shortages and educational capacity, Scholars Network has appointed industry veteran Mike Earman as its new Vice President of Health System Partnerships. Earman will spearhead efforts to align university programs with the specific talent requirements of hospitals across the United States.

Earman arrives at the Noodle-operated organization following a tenure at Laudio, where he guided the AI-enabled platform from its startup phase to a national footprint across 150 hospitals before its 2025 acquisition by Ascend Learning. His background also includes an eight-year stint at Relias, where he focused on healthcare education technology and scaled enterprise partnerships through extensive mergers and acquisitions.

His appointment arrives as health systems grapple with rising costs associated with recruiting and retaining clinicians—expenditures that often eclipse the actual cost of professional education. Earman intends to leverage his experience to integrate university output with employer needs, creating a more sustainable pipeline for clinical staff. The Scholars Network model aims to simplify this process, providing students with clearer career pathways while offering health systems data-driven insights to grow programs tailored to community needs.
