The incoming team brings extensive experience in handling both domestic and international insurance matters, ranging from commercial general liability and construction defects to professional liability and bad faith claims. Beyond litigation, the attorneys provide pre-litigation counsel, coordinating with adjusters and experts to navigate complex settlement strategies and coverage disputes.
This expansion follows a similar growth spurt in May, when three real estate lawyers joined the New York office. Co-Managing Partner Patrick Northen described the move as a deliberate effort to reinforce the firm's regulatory and litigation footprint across New York and New Jersey. Stephen M. Lazare, a veteran with over four decades of industry practice and a former chair of the New York State Bar Association’s insurance committee, joins alongside Yale Glazer, a former Bronx County Assistant District Attorney, and Andrew M. Premisler, who brings 25 years of experience in high-stakes coverage litigation. The hires underscore Dilworth Paxson’s ongoing investment in its mid-Atlantic presence.
