The platform now enables users to hold stocks alongside ETFs, bonds, loans, real estate, crypto ETPs, and Smart Cash within a single account. By eliminating subscription tiers and currency conversion charges for US stocks traded in euros, the company targets investors who previously found entry barriers—such as transaction costs—too high for smaller portfolios.
Martins Sulte, CEO and Co-Founder of Mintos, noted that removing fees is intended to lower the barrier for those starting with limited capital. Investors can choose between manual trading or automated investment plans, which allow for recurring contributions on weekly, monthly, or quarterly schedules. The current selection focuses on high-liquidity companies across sectors like technology, healthcare, and energy, with plans to expand the catalogue over time. While Mintos has waived platform-level charges, investors should remain aware that individual ETFs retain their own internal expense ratios and that all market participation carries inherent capital risk.
