The company is executing these upgrades in phases, focusing on consolidating fragmented business functions into a unified interface. A core addition is TriNet Leave, which incorporates technology from the recent Cocoon acquisition to automate compliance and claims tracking. This follows a strategy of embedding partner solutions directly into the platform to reduce the need for disparate software.
Starting in January, the company will launch TriNet Recruit and TriNet Spend. The former, powered by JazzHR, aims to simplify the hiring process from initial job postings to employee onboarding. TriNet Spend will link payroll and expense data, providing business owners with real-time visibility into company costs and automated reimbursement workflows. According to Jeff Hayward, EVP and Chief Service and Technology Officer, these investments are intended to help business owners shift from reactive management to proactive growth strategies.
TriNet is also expanding its AI-powered assistance, allowing administrators to query workforce data directly within the platform’s reporting modules. By combining these digital tools with its existing HR expertise, the firm seeks to eliminate the silos that often complicate operations for smaller enterprises. These changes come as the company continues to refine its technology stack to better serve businesses looking to mitigate administrative burdens.
