Lapine Narrows Net Loss to 80 Million Yen in First Half

Despite the improved bottom line, the company’s broader financial indicators show persistent pressure on top-line growth. Revenue slipped to 851 million yen, down from 918 million yen a year earlier. Operating losses widened slightly to 176 million yen compared to 172 million yen in 2025, reflecting ongoing costs in the firm's core operations.

Pretax profit figures mirrored the overall trend of marginal stabilization, settling at a loss of 157 million yen against the previous year's 161 million yen. Earnings per share improved to a loss of 33.86 yen, recovering from the 70.21 yen loss per share reported in the prior cycle. These results were prepared in accordance with Japanese accounting standards.
