The new service accommodates parcels measuring up to 38 by 26.5 by 3.2 centimeters. By integrating real-time tracking and photographic proof of delivery into a format typically lacking such features, GOFO aims to reduce overhead for merchants handling lightweight goods. Each successful drop-off is documented with at least two images, providing a verified audit trail to mitigate potential shipping disputes.
Luoying Wu, product manager at GOFO Netherlands, noted that the expansion addresses the tightening margins faced by retailers shipping small orders. Following a one-month pilot phase, the service recorded a 98.5% next-working-day delivery rate. Operations are supported by the company’s existing Dutch infrastructure, which includes one sorting hub and two transit depots serving the entire country.
