MediOps Enters Aviation Sector to Streamline Medical Logistics

MediOps has launched a dedicated aviation division to manage time-critical medical shipments, including organ transplants and radiopharmaceuticals. By partnering with George J. Priester Aviation, the logistics firm aims to bridge the gap between specialized healthcare transport and premium private charter operations under a single, integrated service model.

The new venture, MediOps Aviation, functions as a coordinated solution where MediOps manages healthcare logistics and software orchestration, while George J. Priester Aviation provides the aircraft and flight operations. This partnership replaces multi-vendor coordination with a unified service designed for the high-stakes requirements of medical transport. Rylan Stone, President of MediOps, stated that the collaboration emphasizes precision and safety standards tailored specifically for the healthcare industry.

At the heart of the service is a proprietary software platform that enables real-time mission visibility and automated logistics management. Brent Moldowan, President and CEO of George J. Priester Aviation, noted that the move addresses the growing demand for specialized aviation capacity. The service covers the entire chain of custody, from aircraft dispatch to final ground delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and reliability for shipments that require immediate attention.
