Celestica Bets on AI Supercycle With Aggressive 2027 Revenue Targets

A 17% surge in after-hours trading followed Celestica’s decision to hike its annual revenue forecast to $21 billion. The infrastructure provider is leaning into a massive AI-driven expansion, projecting that demand from hyperscalers and frontier labs will push its top line to $40 billion by 2027.

Celestica Bets on AI Supercycle With Aggressive 2027 Revenue Targets

The company’s updated full-year guidance for 2024 now sits at $11.55 in adjusted earnings per share, outpacing the $11.21 estimate previously set by FactSet analysts. This optimism is rooted in a robust third quarter where revenue jumped to $5.83 billion, significantly clearing the $5.49 billion consensus. Net profit also climbed to $397.2 million, up from $267.8 million during the same period last year.

CEO Rob Mionis pointed to a sustained infrastructure supercycle as the primary catalyst for these figures. Beyond the immediate fiscal year, Celestica is signaling even higher internal forecasts for 2028, suggesting that current customer demand remains at record levels. For the upcoming fourth quarter, the firm expects revenue between $6.275 billion and $6.575 billion, keeping pace with the rapid scaling of its data center operations.
