Daito Trust Construction Net Profit Surges 28% in First Half

Daito Trust Construction reported a sharp rise in profitability for the first half of the fiscal year ending September 30, with net profit climbing to 64.18 billion yen. This result marks a significant improvement over the 49.89 billion yen recorded during the same period last year as construction demand remained resilient.

Revenue for the Japanese construction firm reached 988.69 billion yen, up from 959.55 billion yen in the previous year. Operating profit mirrored this growth, rising to 79.30 billion yen from 69.39 billion yen, while pretax profit reached 78.57 billion yen. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, pushed earnings per share to 196.79 yen, compared with 150.41 yen in the prior period. Diluted earnings per share also saw a corresponding increase to 196.73 yen.
