The new facility spans 70 acres and integrates specialized research and development zones alongside expanded production lines. By placing the plant in close proximity to its existing headquarters and distribution center, the company aims to streamline its supply chain and accommodate future growth. President of Consumer Brands Steve Gordon noted that the investment reflects a direct response to the sustained popularity of the brand’s sustainable, plant-based offerings.
Local officials view the project as a significant economic driver for the region. The facility is expected to create jobs for approximately 96 people once it reaches full operational capacity. Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, praised the company’s commitment to innovation, while Muscatine Mayor Dr. Brad Bark highlighted the deep-rooted partnership between the city and the family-owned firm. KENT WORLDWIDE, led by CEO Gage A. Kent, continues to focus on ag-based specialty ingredients and consumer goods from its Iowa base.
