Scientist.com Webinar Focuses on Replacing Animal Models in Drug Research

As drug developers shift away from traditional animal testing, Scientist.com is convening experts on June 17, 2026, to explore the practical application of New Approach Methodologies. The virtual session aims to bridge the gap between emerging human-relevant technologies and their integration into commercial research workflows.

The webinar features technical insights from industry leaders at BioIVT, HUB Organoids, and Cyprotex. Dr. Courtney Noah of BioIVT will open the discussion by examining the critical biological variables that dictate the success of these methodologies. Following this, Dr. René Overmeer from HUB Organoids will detail techniques for miniaturizing screening processes, while Dr. Paul Walker of Cyprotex will demonstrate how AI-enabled transcriptomic profiling can identify multi-organ toxicity during the early stages of development.

Kevin Lustig, CEO of Scientist.com, emphasized that the industry is prioritizing scalable, human-relevant research tools to improve translational success. Beyond the technical presentations, the event includes a live panel session allowing attendees to engage directly with the speakers. Interested researchers can register for the 8:00 a.m. PT session through the company’s digital portal.
