Miguel Yturbe Redo Returns to Greenberg Traurig Mexico Office

Miguel Yturbe Redo has rejoined Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico City office as a shareholder, marking his return to the firm after a tenure as head of mergers and acquisitions at the education platform Lottus Education. His arrival bolsters the firm’s corporate practice with a focus on cross-border transactions and regulated industries.

Yturbe Redo brings extensive experience in private equity, capital markets, and complex financing to the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice. His expertise covers a broad spectrum of sectors, including infrastructure, financial services, health care, and the food and beverage industry. During his previous career, he has navigated intricate shareholder arrangements and corporate governance mandates for both public and private investors.

Juan Manuel González Bernal, co-managing shareholder in Mexico City, noted that the move reflects a strategic expansion of the firm’s regional capabilities. José Raz Guzmán, co-chair of the Latin America Practice, added that the addition deepens the firm's shareholder bench as it continues to manage complex mandates across the region. The Mexico office currently hosts more than 70 bilingual attorneys, serving as a critical hub for Greenberg Traurig’s operations in Latin America.
