The laboratory serves as a dedicated hub for project incubation and pilot exploration, targeting five core domains: ultra-fast charging architectures, cloud-based energy scheduling, solar-storage integration, megawatt-scale charging for heavy vehicles, and AI-driven predictive maintenance.
During the launch, Evan Li, Chief Engineer of Shell E-Mobility China, and Kecheng Guo, General Manager of SINEXCEL’s EV Charging Solutions, aligned their research roadmaps to prioritize the transition from theoretical R&D to commercial deployment. By integrating hardware innovation with smarter software management, the companies intend to resolve persistent efficiency bottlenecks in current charging networks. This collaborative effort signals a shift toward a more reliable and expansive green energy ecosystem, with both firms now moving into an active operational phase to test new business models and charging technologies.
