The new pizza features a base of handmade Bar-B-Lou sauce topped with grilled chicken, red onions, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, finished with a garnish of fresh parsley. To round out the summer offerings, the pizzeria is also rolling out a Chicken BBQ Club Salad and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pizza, the latter served with vanilla bean ice cream. CEO Julie Younglove-Webb described the collection as a deliberate effort to capture the communal spirit of backyard gatherings.
Beginning June 18, customers can order the items for dine-in, carryout, or delivery across the brand's footprint in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Arizona. Fans of the brand living outside these regions can order the pizzas through TastesofChicago.com, where the pies are shipped flash-frozen. To celebrate the launch, the chain will host a preview event on June 17 at its West Loop location in Chicago. The festivities include a giveaway of 2,000 free slices and a contest centered on backyard grilling personas.
