In her new capacity, she will direct the bank's core functions, including operations, marketing, treasury solutions, and the branch network. Dan Kemp retains his position as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, focusing on the organization's long-term strategic vision.

Since its founding in 1941, the bank has grown into a $2.2 billion entity with 18 locations throughout the Texas Hill Country, Central, and North Texas. The leadership transition coincides with a planned expansion into Johnson City, Fort Worth, and Weatherford. Kemp noted that Perez’s appointment reflects her long-standing contributions to the bank's growth and the institution's commitment to developing internal leadership. Perez stated she intends to maintain the bank’s focus on local decision-making and relationship-driven service as it enters its ninth decade.
