ABCmouse Brings Educational Content to Southwest Flights

At 30,000 feet, young travelers on Southwest Airlines can now access educational video modules through the airline's inflight portal. A new partnership with Age of Learning integrates the ABCmouse curriculum into the carrier's entertainment system, aiming to turn travel time into an interactive learning experience for children aged two to eight.

The collaboration, running through December 31, 2026, features eight distinct video episodes covering subjects ranging from natural history to alphabet literacy. Content titles include 'Manmade Marvels,' 'World of Water,' and 'Alphabet Show & Tell,' all accessible via Southwest’s WiFi-enabled aircraft. Beyond the digital portal, flight attendants will distribute branded activity booklets and crayons on select domestic routes to supplement the screen-based learning.

Alex Galvagni, CEO of Age of Learning, stated that the initiative aims to provide quality educational resources to families while they are in transit. Southwest’s Vice President of Customer Experience and Innovation, Lisa Hingson, added that the move aligns with the airline's goal of improving the family travel experience. In addition to the in-flight programming, users can access an exclusive six-week free trial of the ABCmouse platform through the airline’s Rapid Rewards portal.
