The program removes traditional barriers to entry by eliminating essay requirements and GPA thresholds. Eligibility extends to legal U.S. residents aged 18 and older who are currently enrolled in a graduate program, or the parents of students pursuing such degrees. Applicants do not need to hold an Abe loan to qualify for the drawing, which remains open until July 31, 2026.
"Completing graduate studies after finishing a bachelor's degree requires a strong commitment of time and resources," said Steve Winnie, President of Monogram LLC, the firm that administers the Abe brand. The company, which has facilitated over $23 billion in private student loans to date, expects to announce the winner in early August. Interested parties can submit their entries through the official Abe portal, where full sweepstakes rules and institution eligibility requirements are posted.
