The initiative combines U.S. News’ expertise in consumer rankings—which recently gathered feedback from over half a million residents across 3,000 communities—with Argentum’s role as a national advocate for senior care providers. By integrating data-driven insights into Argentum’s quality working groups, the organizations intend to create more consistent benchmarks for independent living, assisted living, and memory care facilities.
Beyond technical metrics, the partnership will serve as a media pillar for the "I Love Senior Living" campaign. U.S. News plans to leverage its platform to highlight resident and caregiver experiences, aiming to shift public perception through storytelling. Eric Gertler, CEO of U.S. News, noted that the collaboration provides a natural framework for the industry to adopt unified engagement standards. Meanwhile, Argentum CEO James Balda stated that pairing rigorous measurement with narrative-driven advocacy will help ensure the focus remains on the dignity and quality of life for older adults.
