The system processes massive data streams to identify anomalies and trigger corrective maintenance. Since its early 2026 launch, the platform has pinpointed 35 fugitive emissions that would have otherwise gone undetected. Namita Shah, President of OneTech at TotalEnergies, emphasized that the integration of digital tools and artificial intelligence is critical for making industrial operations safer and more sustainable.

Beyond methane reduction, the company is scaling its AI operations to monitor 3,000 pieces of equipment, with plans to expand this to tens of thousands. To support these computational demands, TotalEnergies is launching Pangea 5, a supercomputer slated for 2027 that will increase the firm's processing power sixfold. The company is also leveraging its energy portfolio to supply over 4 GW of renewable power to major technology partners, including Google, Amazon, and Microsoft, to meet the rising electricity requirements of data centers.
