Mayfair Gold Validates Fenn-Gib Reserve Model with Grade Control Drilling

Mayfair Gold Corp. has confirmed the reliability of its Fenn-Gib project mineral reserve model following a targeted grade control drilling program. The initiative, which examined one million tonnes of probable reserves, successfully validated ore-body continuity and identified potential to accelerate higher-grade production during the mine's initial stages.

The drilling program, completed in late 2025, utilized 56 diamond drill holes to test approximately 25% of the Phase 1 reserve design. By comparing these findings against the 2026 Pre-Feasibility Study, the company confirmed that the mineral reserve estimate accurately mirrors actual field conditions. For material exceeding a 0.8 g/t gold cut-off, the model returned results consistent with reserve projections while identifying a 2% increase in contained metal.

Data from the higher-grade segments—defined as material above 3.0 g/t—proved particularly encouraging, revealing 28% more tonnage at a 7% higher grade than initially modeled. This density of information serves to de-risk the project's early production timeline. CEO Drew Anwyll noted that the results provide a clearer roadmap for project financing by demonstrating that high-grade feed is present and accessible as planned.

Beyond verifying existing estimates, the program highlighted tactical opportunities to optimize the mining sequence. By refining the definition of ore boundaries, the company may be able to process higher-grade material sooner than anticipated, effectively strengthening the cash flow profile in the early years of operation. Mayfair is currently assessing the feasibility of a second test area to determine if these positive characteristics remain consistent across other ore types within the broader Fenn-Gib deposit.
