BDR Launches Specialized Bookkeeping for Home Service Contractors

Many contractors struggle to balance field operations with the intricate requirements of financial management, often relying on internal staff or providers unfamiliar with the trade’s unique cycles. ProBooks addresses this gap by offering regular financial reviews and weekly reporting on revenue and liabilities. According to Kimberly Wibbenmeyer, director of client financials at BDR, the goal is to provide the accounting structure necessary for business owners to make strategic growth decisions rather than getting lost in ledger entries.

The service integrates with existing management platforms and includes access to Sidekick by BDR, an AI-driven accounts payable tool designed to automate workflows. By shifting the focus from manual record-keeping to technology-enabled insights, BDR intends to help contractors stabilize their foundation for long-term scaling. This expansion builds upon the company's existing coaching and training programs, which currently support over 900 contractor businesses across North America.
