The capital injection includes participation from Point72 Ventures, Ascend Venture Capital, Shasta Ventures, and Overmatch Ventures. In addition to the equity round, Overland AI secured a $20 million venture debt facility from TriplePoint Capital, providing the firm with substantial liquidity to meet the rising demand for its flagship platform, ULTRA.

Powering the ULTRA Platform

The ULTRA system is currently being utilized by the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, and Special Operations Command. Designed to navigate complex off-road environments without human intervention, the vehicle serves as a cornerstone for the military’s push toward modernized, uncrewed logistics and reconnaissance.

The company’s expansion comes as defense officials prioritize operational integration over mere experimentation. According to co-founder and President Stephanie Bonk, the funding allows the company to scale in lockstep with the specific units adopting the technology.
