The showcase at McCormick Place, running June 22–25, highlights two core platforms built to handle the demands of automated production. The SBOX-2625, powered by Intel’s N-series processors, offers a fanless, compact footprint tailored for space-constrained machine control and process synchronization. For more data-intensive tasks, the ABOX-5221 utilizes 14th Gen Intel Core processors and optional NVIDIA RTX GPUs to support high-speed visual inspection and defect detection. According to CEO Kevin Hsu, the focus remains on converting raw production data into immediate, actionable insights to accelerate digital transformation.

Beyond raw performance, SINTRONES is emphasizing the security of these connected assets. By adhering to the IEC 62443-4-1 framework, the manufacturer integrates security protocols directly into the development lifecycle of its hardware. This approach aims to provide the cyber resilience necessary for factories that rely on continuous, AI-driven automation. As a member of the Association for Advancing Automation, the company is positioning its rugged computing architecture as a foundational layer for manufacturers seeking to reduce manual intervention while boosting overall yield.
