Since joining the company in December 2025, Perkins has directed business development and corporate strategy. Her tenure has been marked by the cultivation of key pharmaceutical partnerships and the management of operational diligence for the firm's preclinical programs. CEO and Co-Founder Bruce McCormick noted that Perkins has become a central figure for investors and partners, playing a vital role in guiding the company toward IND-enabling work alongside Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Richard Sayre.

Perkins brings over 25 years of industry experience, including past work on the commercialization of the pediatric gene therapy ZOLGENSMA. She is also a founding member of the American Biotech Innovation Alliance. As she assumes her new position, Perkins is representing the company at the 2026 BIO International Convention in San Diego, with an additional presentation on intracellular medicine scheduled for the upcoming 3rd Annual Cell & Gene Therapy Conference in Boston.
