By utilizing anonymized data from local hospitals, faculty can construct customized assessments that mirror the workflows students will face upon entering the workforce. Dr. Amanda Baskwill, Senior Vice-President Academic at Loyalist, noted that the system provides the flexibility required to build confidence in practical skills before students begin their clinical placements.
As a managed SaaS solution, the portal reduces the technical overhead for the college by handling updates and security centrally. The current agreement, signed during Sectra’s 2025/2026 fiscal year, supports up to 50 active users per month. Nader Soltani, President at Sectra Canada, emphasized that this implementation is a first for Ontario, positioning the college to standardize training quality through a platform already proven in international clinical settings.
