FusionAuth Targets UK Expansion Following European Growth Surge

European enterprises are prioritizing data sovereignty, driving a 72% increase in regional recurring revenue for Colorado-based identity platform FusionAuth. In response to this organic demand for infrastructure control and tenant isolation, the company has officially established its first dedicated sales team based in the United Kingdom.

The expansion follows a strong fiscal first quarter ending July 31, 2026, where FusionAuth reported a 48% year-over-year rise in new-business annual recurring revenue. This momentum is largely attributed to a shift in European market requirements, where organizations increasingly demand the ability to deploy identity management solutions that offer granular control over data residency.

Gartner forecasts an 83% surge in European sovereign-cloud infrastructure spending for 2026, a trend mirrored by FusionAuth’s internal data showing 85% of technology leaders now list tenant isolation as a mandatory buying criterion. CEO Brian Bell noted that the firm’s platform gained traction in the region even before local resources were deployed, citing high adoption rates within the media, energy, and retail sectors.

Key enterprise clients, including German energy firm tado° and French retailer Grand Frais, represent the company’s push into sectors where owning the customer relationship is critical. To further solidify its presence, FusionAuth is participating in The Fan Identity Forum at London’s Stamford Bridge this week. Alongside digital product specialist Stadion, the company aims to demonstrate how sports organizations can unify fragmented fan data across ticketing and merchandising platforms while maintaining data ownership.
